Uchronia

Fil Ieropoulos draws inspiration from Rimbaud’s poem “A Season in Hell” for this psychedelic documentary essay. Rimbaud’s ghost pays visits to various revolutionary and queer figures—Emma Goldman, David Wojnarowicz, and Marsha P. Johnson, among others—offering an exhilarating blend of the experimental and the political, delivering an intersectional critique of colonialism, sexism, racism, and transphobia… As wild as it is necessary.
