ExhibitionAnimalsThe ANIMALS exhibition invites you to dive into an extraordinary bestiary inspired by Animal Books, a work by Lous Martens (Roma Publications, 2017).
Lous Martens (NL, 1940-2023) had five grandchildren for whom he created illustrated animal books. His approach began with the birth of the first baby in 2000 and continued until his death in 2023.
Made up of animal images cut from various media (newspapers, magazines, stamps, photographs, advertisements, etc.), these fascinating notebooks were published in 2017 by Roma publishing in a single volume: Animal Books - For Jaap, Zeno, Anna, Julian, Luca… The book has since enjoyed immense success and has been reprinted several times.
Come and discover the very first immersive exhibition drawn from this abundant and moving work that will dazzle young and old alike.
Mediation events not to be missed:
- Sun. Nov. 8 and 22: the little beasts creative daycares
- Thu. Dec. 3 at 18:00: a conference starting from the work of Lous Martens, by the A.T.I.
Activities and guided tours are also organized throughout the exhibition period. Info: www.chiroux.beFri 6 Nov · 11:00–18:00Centre culturel de Liège les ChirouxFree
ExhibitionOf love & fresh waterD’amour & d’eau fraîche is a photographic series created by Clair Bravo (1999, France) within seven rural queer communities in France. The project questions the notions of belonging, visibility, intimacy, and collective life in territories often associated with conservative or heteronormative imaginaries. These communities constitute spaces of resistance, solidarity, and collective invention. Here, photography contributes to the construction of common imaginaries, to the transmission of minority experiences, and to the invention of desirable futures.
The texts that accompany the images were written by the people photographed, multiplying the points of view and sharing the authority of the narrative. Presented on silk, the photographs become objects whose lightness and mobility favor flexible circulation, outside of established frameworks.

MusicReflect Presents: Panteros666 + Saligo + VelotaConceived by OB and Saligo, producer and DJ with techno influences, REFLECT was born from a desire to bring electronic music enthusiasts together around a project anchored in the local scene. Each evening is built in connection with collectives and labels from the region, to showcase their universes and create encounters between emerging talents and established artists.
Techno, break, jungle, ghettotech: REFLECT explores different facets of underground electronic music, with a programming that evolves across events. After a first edition that brought together over 800 people, the concept arrives at Reflektor on November 6th with Panteros666, Saligo, and Velota.
Born in Lille with his heart stolen by Paris, Panteros666 is a passionate lover of Europe, federalism, and electronic music of course. His tracks, or rather his electronic anthems, are marked by catchy choruses and captivating leads, which have earned him a legendary reputation on the internet and in real life. Regularly broadcast on BBC1, Triple J, and featured on the cover of the finest editorial playlists of the new Y2K trance scene like "Planet Rave", "Rave", "Fresh Finds", "Outliers".Fri 6 Nov · 21:30Reflektor · Liège

Comedy\"Y A D'la Joie ...Bordel!\" - Claude FrançoisAmidst the ambient gloom, Claude wonders where the joy has gone. Instead of letting herself be depressed by this observation, she decides to laugh about it by making fun of our adult behaviors, pessimists, complainers, overly serious people, herself, and this society that has gone off the rails! A true ode to joy that will make you laugh, but not only that...

TheatreThe Spanish Hour | L’Enfant et les sortilègesThe Spanish Hour | The Child and the Spells Maurice Ravel
Torquemada has eyes only for his wife, Concepción. But he is not the only one. In his clock shop, suitors follow one another to the rhythm of the ticking. From stratagem to misunderstanding, Concepción hopes to take advantage of her husband's absence for a gallivanting adventure. At the end of a burlesque ballet, all the admirers end up hidden inside clocks, transported upstairs by Ramiro, a muleteer...
Scandal! What is this opera subject where men lurk inside clocks to be subsequently transported to the bedroom of an unfaithful woman? Upon the premiere of The Spanish Hour in 1911, critics lambasted the work, going so far as to cry pornography. The young composer was also criticized for a cold aesthetic. For the time, the subtle timbres of the orchestra seemed singular. Celesta, tubular bells, and muted horns are juxtaposed with polyrhythms; as in the prelude where three pendulums set to different tempi create a closed world.Fri 6 Nov · 20:00Opéra Royal de Wallonie · Liège+1 more date

From the text to the plot via the scenography, Petite Frappe, talks about the relationship to language, to the letter, to paper, and reveals how the learning of words and emotions can save us from the inability to consider ourselves worthy of the verb.
