This winter, First Aid Kit will hit the road again with “Visions of the Past Tour”. Through this tour, the Swedish duo will celebrate their entire journey, revisiting tracks from their very first EP to their latest album, not forgetting some covers and many other surprises. On Tuesday, December 1st, First Aid Kit will offer this resolutely nostalgic interlude to their Belgian fans in the intimate setting of Cirque Royal de Bruxelles. First Aid Kit is composed of sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg. Originaires de Stockholm, in Sweden, they have been composing together since adolescence. Nominated twice for the BRIT Awards, the duo has continued to seduce an international audience thanks to their clever mix of delicate compositions and ambitious melodies, oscillating between folk, pop, country, and americana. After the albums ‘The Big Black and The Blue' (2010) and ‘The Lion's Roar' (2012), it was with ‘Stay Gold' in 2014 that they definitively established themselves, conquering both critics and the public. The superb single “My Silver Lining”, from this album, has accumulated hundreds of millions of streams and was certified gold in the United Kingdom. In 2018, ‘Ruins' was certified gold in Sweden and received “4 stars out of 5” from the Guardian, Q, and NME, while Pitchfork hailed it as “a showcase of their sweet harmonies, punctuated by some bold stylistic breaks.” Throughout their career, the Söderberg sisters have collaborated with artists as varied as P!NK, Jenny Lewis, Conor Oberst, George Ezra, or even Zara Larsson. Their fifth album, ‘Palomino' (2022), praised by both critics and the public, led them to undertake the largest tour of their career. On December 1st at Cirque Royal, First Aid Kit will invite the audience on a stripped-back, intimate, and deeply nostalgic journey through a discography as rich as it is moving.
