WASDA - The Team & ONAF

WASDA is wash. A lot of wash. Mountains of wash. Seas of wash. WASDA is wash lines, washing machines, laundry baskets, clothespins, washing powder, and wind. WASDA is a lot of clothes, clothes that no longer participate, stand on the sidelines, are inappropriate, are no longer worn. But… what’s that? Is that shirt moving? Did those pants just sigh? Those clothes are alive, or what?! WASDA, that’s two socks arguing that never want to see each other again, that’s a tie with the giggles, a dancing sweater, a shirt that is sad because no one cares about it anymore. Because clothes are like people, they can be in a bad mood, dance, be happy or afraid or angry. People are like clothes, we all want to be worn… WASDA is participating, getting to work, off your chair, onto the floor. Smoothing out wrinkles, blowing wind, softening wash, comforting clothes, taking care. WASDA is together, for each other. WASDA happens to us. WHAT’S THAT? THAT WAS QUITE SOMETHING. WASDA is an ode to the imagination of the toddler and a plea for a sustainable society in which people take care of each other. A dance-like, low-language performance full of acrobatics, movement, humor, and poetry. This preschool performance is not just for watching, but also an experience that happens to you. A shared moment of play, care, chaos, and wash. A performance about together, we, us, all, everyone.
