Even Saint Nicholas sticks his finger in the air!

For everyone from 4 years old Jan De Smet (De Nieuwe Snaar) has been working for a number of years on the path of the new, fresh children's song. The success of the book/CD release Steek Je Vinger In De Lucht (Lannoo) cannot be denied. On this CD, traditional Sinterklaas songs were put in a refreshing jacket. Jan De Smet now also brings these songs live for a live audience (among others). He accompanies himself on about eight (and sometimes not obvious) instruments. Those same instruments are all excitingly wrapped in shiny gift paper at the beginning of the performance, as if Piet himself has already brought a number of presents! There is singing along, jumping... because we are so happy (because there are no naughty children among us!). And... Sinterklaas also comes along! Jan De Smet touches the children like no other and together with them always makes it a party. After the performance, we provide a fun game and/or craft moment. For children who are too small or too big to follow the performance, we provide a fun care moment during the performance in collaboration with Gezinsbond.
