An Alternative Xmas

Do you know that feeling? It is winter. The sun sets early. The Christmas lights flicker. You feel the chill and the melancholy, and you seek comfort in music. In songs that feel like a warm blanket. Music as medicine against the winter blues. That kind of song is exactly what this performance is about. Music that creeps softly under your skin and warms your soul. Don't expect typical Christmas songs, but small pearls from great heroes. Liedjes van Nick Cave, Joni Mitchell of Radiohead. Jeff Buckley, The Cure of Neil Young. And what do you think of Sufjan Stevens, R.E.M., Phil Collins? Or perhaps an alternative version of Last Christmas van Wham? Get ready for a heartwarming evening, colored by four tasteful and idiosyncratic artists who will undoubtedly provide goosebumps and a sparkle in your eyes.
