Our jukebox offers a selection of classical music, waiting for you to be played. A concept in which the audience determines the playlist of the evening: votes can be cast in advance, but decisions on what will be played are also made during the performance. Every evening is therefore unique. The classical repertoire, casual and according to a different code, without compromising on quality. And above all with your interaction: coughing is allowed, applauding at the wrong moment too. The evening is guided through winding paths by top musicians together with two sympathetic Masters of Ceremony: Clara Cleymans and Geert Van Rampelberg. An evening of classical heavyweights like you have never heard them before, fresh and outside the boundaries of the predictable. Harpiste Leen Van der Roost, soprano Liesbeth Devos, and pianist Bart Van Caenegem roam through all kinds of high-quality classical music together with The Jukebox String Quartet, in search of the most sparkling pieces. They play these fresh arrangements 'on your request', off the cuff, out of the longest sleeve… and serve them hot and ready on your plate! The most beautiful pearls ever written by classical composers, played and interpreted by ultramodern people. To cap it all off, the unique character of each evening is further highlighted by the category 'local talent'. That's right: at every playing location, we invite young people via the nearest music school to come make music with us using a work from our 'list of greats'.
