A playful afternoon where children and (grand)parents discover together how fascinating the world of wind and air can be. Wonder, creativity, and experiment go hand in hand in a challenging and inviting offer. In and around Cultuurhuis Jan Tervaert, you will find all kinds of discovery places where you can build, blow, test, play, and create. With as a highlight: the family performance Lucht van Laika! What is air? Two little creatures figure it out. From breathing, whistling to a little fart. But who does the air actually belong to? And can it be caught? Then the rather invisible air suddenly becomes very tangible between them, and it is every man for himself. Air is about making something out of nothing and making the world believe it has value. It is a wordless and dance-like performance about everything and nothing. Two cheerful creatures try to catch air, keep it, cherish it. Until they become attached to it and become the plaything of the forces of AIR themselves... KIDS&CO XTRA from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Expect a world full of swirling activities!
