Figure it out

The exhibition "Figure-toi" in May 2027 at La Boverie, extends the success of the exhibition "abstract:" by exploring this time the return of figuration in art: "Figure-toi" highlights figuration as a way to approach major historical, social, and human themes. Through portraiture, the body, historical or genre scenes, and still life, it questions identity, memory, materiality, cultural diversity, and sociopolitical issues. The exhibition also shows how contemporary approaches dialogue with historical heritages to renew traditional forms of representation.
