In concert with ‘Inner Travels’, a mix of jazz and soft funk, for Paduart’s 60th birthday Pianist Ivan Paduart and guitarist Patrick Deltenre undeniably belong to the top of the Belgian jazz scene. After the albums 'Hand In Hand' and 'Ear We Are', they explore new musical horizons in the at times funky album ‘Inner Travels’. Ivan and Patrick, who have been playing together for more than thirty years, decided to work with guest musicians for this recording. A new formula that forces the duo to step outside their comfort zone. Ivan Paduart and Patrick Deltenre mainly play together with other musicians from the Belgian jazz scene, such as Philippe Catherine and Toots Thielemans, but previously also worked (separately or together) with a whole range of international artists such as Claude Nougaro, Deborah Brown, Bob Malach, Manu Katché, Daniel Lavoie, and Mark King.
