Somewhere, Someone is entrusted with the task of tirelessly putting the same balls back into the same bin. Which Someone does, day after day, year after year, without anyone really knowing why. In the hope that the walls won't collapse on him, Someone starts throwing balls at them. Thus, Someone makes the balls travel along increasingly long trajectories through space. Trajectories that are sometimes graceful and deceptively simple, other times powerful and complex, at the end of which, if all goes well, the balls land in the bin. Except that all does not always go well. And how many "not wells" can Someone endure? As the balls turn into burdens, Somewhere Someone tries to unravel a new dimension in time and space – or in the head – in order to escape the colorless monotony. And when this succeeds, Something happens that could be described as magic. Pour Ballroom, the audience takes their seats in a converted truck. Visual artist Lodewijk Heylen has created a concrete set in which juggler Stijn Grupping makes bouncing balls perform an extraordinary choreography, the fruit of much training and a little magic. Accompanied by sounds composed by musicians Jochem Baelus and Frederik Meulyzer, and without saying a word, Grupping takes everyone on an unforgettable journey.
