"Taurus Quartet" at the Midday Concerts

Founded in 2012 by four renowned Belgian musicians, the Taurus Quartet — Wietse Beels and Liesbeth Baelus (violins), Vincent Hepp (viola), and Martijn Vink (cello) — has established itself through playing that is both deep, energetic, and refined. Invited to prestigious festivals and venues in Belgium and abroad, the quartet cultivates a repertoire ranging from the great classics to rarer works. For this concert, it offers us a program placed under the banner of "Franco-Belgian lyricism", bringing together Léon Jongen and Guillaume Lekeu.
