The Brussels Aperitif Tales

Dare to try adult storytelling! Every third Friday of the month from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM, funny, surprising, zany, and moving stories intended for an adult audience are told. For 16 years, the open stage \"Les Zapéro-contes\" has welcomed storytellers from all over Belgium and sometimes also from France in Brussels. Organized by Asbl Racontance, these open stages aim to make you discover the immense richness of the storytelling universe (traditional, philosophical, fantastic, humorous...) thus striking down the reductive cliché that storytelling is intended solely for children. The evening is joyfully hosted by Dominique Brynaert, storyteller and former TV journalist. Les Zapéro-contes take place in the fantastic Art Nouveau decor of a legendary restaurant and brasserie in Brussels: De Ultieme Hallucinatie. Admission is free (pass-the-hat collection in solidarity with the artists) to help you discover or rediscover this artistic discipline and make culture accessible to all budgets.
