That too is fate and that too I embrace with pleasure.” Jan Jaap van der Wal is now 10 years ‘Flemish person in training’ and can no longer be imagined out of the Flemish theaters and on television. The love is mutual and to celebrate that, Jan Jaap brings his biggest show to date in Flanders: Amor Fati. “Because whether we go under due to a possible war, or due to a budget deficit, or we choke on a shrimp croquette at the seaside; go under we will anyway. Let us do it with a big smile then.”
