Forget the polished pop girls. Emmy d'Arc is of a different caliber. While her peers were still playing with dolls, Emmy de Playstation sang the game Singstar to pieces and demanded her first guitar. The mission was already clear then: get on stage. Not to please, but to overpower. What followed was a fifteen-year crusade along more than 450 stages. From sweaty concert clubs to the hallowed ground of Pukkelpop, Gent Jazz, and Rock Werchter. She also played in the opening acts of artists like Sting, John Cale, and Amy Macdonald.
