A group of 60-plussers meets every week to, under guidance, loosen up the muscles a bit. But without tiring themselves out too much. On a chair, take it easy, no fuss. Until their loyal guide - himself no longer the youngest - suddenly passes away. His place is taken by an enthusiastic young spring-in-the-field, full of energy and grand plans. The chairs make way for gymnastics equipment and Olympic gold is his goal. Whether that is still to the liking of the oldies, that is the question. One thing is certain: the new wind causes a lot of hilarity. A wonderful visual gymnastics comedy, a salto mortale of fun, full of crazy antics. Het Prethuis is a popular Flemish theater company led by actor and screenwriter Jeroen Maes. The company is known for its comedies with a folk touch, often interspersed with West Flemish humor and recognizable situations. Het Prethuis saw the light of day in 2012 with the first feat being the West Flemish comedy ‘Van Kwoad Nor Erger’ by Jeroen Maes. Many successful productions followed since then.
