Benne Bayfall is a band founded in 2011 in Senegal around singer, guitarist, and composer Ismaïla Ndoye. Benne Bayfall combines African rhythms with reggae and soul, which results in a warm, energetic, and recognizable sound. The lyrics of Ismaïla are about the path of youth, the future of the African continent, and his deep love for his native country. With his intense and warm voice and a strong message of peace, he knows how to touch the audience again and again. The band provided the opening act for Youssou Ndour and more recently, in May 2025, that of Manu Chao. The rhythms and strong stage energy of Benne Bayfall provide a musical journey full of grooves and African vibes.
