Something between a love letter and a shopping list
This performance is one woman's love letter to all men. A love letter full of stories, humor, bulging with ambition and lust. And a shopping list, just to get some things sorted.
La Rosiers is taking a pole dancing course. She is not the only 40-year-old hip, married fomo-mom there. With her face on the floor and her hips swaying in the air, she wonders: is this the dreamed-of me-time or would the study group “feminist literature for advanced students” have been more suitable? What does the world benefit from? Should she contribute nothing? Could she?
No lack of ideas: push the men off the helm; sprinkle estrogen in the Sipwell during UN conferences and turn climate policy into a world championship. To be clear: she is done with polarization. Then rather pole dancing.
Na Upperdare Littéraire, a particularly funny, heartwarming theater story about eroticism and sexuality, it is time to look in the mirror: does she still believe in love or has everything crumbled into lust, power, and ego?
