WANTED: LONELY

GEZOCHT: EENZAME a comedy by DO VAN RANST, played by Floris ende Blancefloer in Assenede, directed by Dirk Haers. Synopsis: Bea is in love with Peter. But it is not allowed by Trijs, Bea's bossy, stuck-up mother. Bea makes one last desperate attempt to convince her mother that she is already 24 and that now is slowly the moment to let her boyfriend celebrate Christmas. But mother has no ears for it because Peter is not studying to be a doctor or lawyer. Anyway, Bea accuses her mother of being selfish, to which mother dear decides to do a good deed. Why don't they invite a lonely person for Christmas? Mother puts a beautiful advertisement in the newspaper and yes, the first 'lonely person' who makes his appearance is Peter himself! But it doesn't go that easily! Only the very best 'lonely person' has a chance. That is why Bea rounds up a handful of half-crazy people to let her mother notice in that way that Peter is indeed the best choice. But of course, everything finally gets out of hand...GEZOCHT: EENZAME
