'Get Up, Stand Up' edition 2026-2027 try-out

A NEW GENERATION OF STAND-UP COMEDY EDITION 2026-2027 TRY-OUT SHOW Get Up Stand Up is back! Since 2007, Get Up Stand Up has been offering a stage to new comedy talent in Antwerp. In previous editions, organized by the Antwerp cultural centers, William Boeva, Lukas Lelie, and Kamal Kharmach, among others, took their first steps as stand-up comedians. Since 2021, ’Nuff Said has been organizing the project and we have now reached the sixth edition of this new series. That Dat Get Up Stand Up remains a true stepping stone is also proven by the most recent Humo’s Comedy Cup: two of the three finalists were ex-participants of Get Up Stand Up, including the ultimate winner Bregje Iding. Who will be the next queen, king, or x of comedy? After a series of workshops and masterclasses led by über-comedians Jeron Dewulf, Soe Nsuki, Latif Ait, and Nigel Williams, we are playing a series of shows in Antwerp and beyond with this new crop. Curious about all that new talent? Come meet the next generation of stand-up comedians and perhaps discover a comedian you saw perform first later on. Get your tickets!
