Four composers, separated by centuries, meet in one musical space.
Palestrina, Purcell, Poulenc and Pärt seek in this music their own translation of stillness, longing and restraint. The ancient texts sometimes express the feeling, but at other times serve merely as a means, set to music at one moment, while at another they are rather the guideline along which the music develops inwards.
Come and discover the emotions contained in that one intense moment where silence and sound, past and present merge into one another.
