Backrooms is an American psychological horror film from 2026. The story is inspired by the internet phenomenon and creepypasta The Backrooms. The film was directed by Kane Parsons who had previously made a web series about the same subject named Backrooms. The theme of both the film and the creepypasta are endless vacant musty office spaces with a typical yellow color. The idea is that you could just end up here by accident.
Clark, the operator of a furniture store, discovers a passage, right through a wall, to the backrooms. This turns out to be an endless labyrinth of unnaturally empty office spaces that seem to exist outside normal reality. He discusses this with his therapist. When he disappears into the rooms, his therapist tries to rescue him out.
