Fish Man (5+) - director: Ricard Cussó and Rio Harrington

Welcome to the enchanting underwater world of Pout-Pout Fish. In this exciting animated adventure, the extremely grumpy Pout-Pout Fish ends up crossing paths with Pip, a bouncing little seahorse. After a seriously escalated argument, the two polar opposites must search together for a mythical water creature. In a bustling underwater city, Pout-Pout Fish feels at home nowhere. He prefers to stay safe in his old shipwreck at the edge of the reef. But his peace is severely disturbed when the hyperactive Pip unexpectedly stands at the door. And as if that wasn't enough, Pip and Pout-Pout Fish both lose their home! There is only one chance left to fix everything in time: they must find the legendary Sparkle. A mysterious fish that according to stories can grant one wish. Pout-Pout Fish doesn't believe it for a fin, but Pip manages to convince him anyway with her infectious enthusiasm. What begins as a search through the ocean grows into an unforgettable adventure full of friendship and surprises. But they have to hurry, because they are not the only ones looking for Sparkle… Na Nemo and SpongeBob, there is a new reason to dive headfirst into the cinema (even if you don't have a swimming diploma yet): the cheerful animated adventure Pout-Pout Fish. It is an exciting and funny story with themes such as friendship, courage, and the fun of spreading happiness and is suitable for all ages. This international co-production of Australia and the US is completely Dutch-spoken with in the voice cast Pip Pellens (who naturally takes on the voice of Pip) and the actor couple David Lucieer (In Love with Ibiza) & Sanne Langelaar (Foodies, In Love with Ibiza). Pout-Pout Fish is an adaptation of the successful picture book The Pout-Pout Fish by writer Deborah Diesen and illustrator Dan Hanna, which was placed in the top ten best children's books by the New York Times in 2008.
