k'listen - Berlinde Deman

In this k’luister we focus on a special instrument. Berlinde Deman, known among other things as a regular tubist with Flat Earth Society, bought herself a serpent a while ago. This is a rare instrument from the Middle Ages that voices an engaging melancholic sound. In her solo program, she weaves the sound of the serpent with loops and electronics and thus tests the boundaries of slowness. Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
