Bocson

With Bocson, Juliette Chevalier presents a choreographic work for six fighting women, in a universe of tarpaulins, fabric and metal. A raw pluralism inspired by the industrial landscapes of the North (from Belgium to France), and by the climate disasters that have recently ravaged that region. This work engages bodies in territories that are travelled through and resilient. Between carnival, boxing and popular cultures, it weaves a sensitive manifesto, where intimate and collective fights respond to each other. A dance of effort and exhaustion, between collapse and resurgence.
