Book Festival: Meet & Greet Bert Bergs

Thrillerauteur Bert Bergs is coming to sign books in our store. Bert Bergs lives in Ghent and writes fluent crime stories that take place mainly in this atmospheric city. After a series of exciting thrillers, Bergs introduced Ghent detective Niels Verdeng in the 2022 crime novel 'Onvoorziene Omweg'. This book marked the starting point for a series of engaging crime stories full of intrigue, suspense, and unexpected twists. Following the successful sequels 'Concerto Morale' and 'Gestolen Wraak', 'Pionnen' is the fourth, standalone installment in this series. In it, Verdeng once again has to deal with a complex case that leads him into a world of international interests, hidden agendas, and forces that reach far beyond his familiar work territory. An outstanding thriller author, and locally grown! This event is part of Festival of the Book (www.standaardboekhandel.be/feest-van-het-boek).
