Star Trip: Unkle Kook (It)

Unkle Kook Unkle Kook was formed in Bologna, Italy, in 2019. Drawing inspiration from surf music, the band's eclectic lineup creates a highly cinematic soundscape—rich in imagery, atmosphere, and emotion. Their music blends soundtrack-like textures with a rock'n'roll spirit that gets audiences dancing, coming fully alive in electrifying live performances, all while maintaining a distinctive sense of irony and playfulness. With reverb-soaked, desert-inspired guitars, a gritty saxophone, and a solid rhythm section, the band delivers an eclectic and immersive sound. In 2021, Unkle Kook released their debut EP, Surf Beat, through the independent label Brutture Moderne. The six instrumental tracks immediately showcased the band's unconventional approach to the surf genre.
