Denmark, 105 minutes
In the hope of a better life, six-year-old Maja and her parents emigrate from Yugoslavia to Denmark. Maja's two older brothers stay behind with the promise that they will follow as soon as the family has settled. But they struggle to adapt to the new language, culture, and way of life. Do they really want to stay here? A remarkably warm and human feature film debut about migration, family, and the price people pay for their dreams.
