The Corset - Louis Clichy

France, 89 min Eleven-year-old Christophe, son of a farmer, walks crookedly, loses his balance and regularly falls. Eventually he gets a corset that must literally force his body to walk “straight”. His relationship with his taciturn, aloof father is not easy. Christophe discovers music and learns to play the organ. He meets Clara, with whom he experiences his first feelings of being in love. A particularly beautiful and sensitive animated film about growing up, accepting yourself and trying to find your own place in the world.
