Oedipus [Theatre]

Christina manages a family business of chemicals intended for agriculture. While she is enjoying a few days of vacation in Greece with her lover, troubles keep piling up. Between professional and personal crises, shocking family secrets emerge. For her second creation, director Héloïse Ravet appropriates this universal plot, updated thanks to the central place given to the figure of Jocasta whose voice is finally restored, through the features of Christina. At the center of a scenography that evokes both trestle theater and bullfighting arenas, four excellent male and female actors deploy an extremely physical and varied register. 24 > 28.11.2026 Théâtre Jean Vilar Conseillé from 15 years old – 2h Text: Maja Zade - Staging and scenography: Héloïse Ravet – Avec Laurent Capelluto, Thomas Dubot, Emilie Maquest and Souâd Toughraï – Translation: Delphine Edy – Dramaturgical accompaniment: Olmo Missaglia – Sound creation: Laure Lapel – Lighting creation: Sibyl Cabello – Costumes: Solène Valentin – Directing assistant: Antoine Herbulot – Scenography and technical direction: Nathalie Moisan – Scenography intern: Lou Smits – Visual: Gerardo Ramos – Construction of sets and costumes: Ateliers du Théâtre de Liège
