Yann was a great magician. And then, one fine day, he wanted to perform one trick too many: "La Grande Disparition"… And he messed up. Since then, nothing is the same anymore. His little acts have become outdated and his daughter, Louison, knows all the tricks by heart. Yet, there is one she never managed to fully understand: what was that story about a disappearance?
She tries her best to talk about it with him, but her father always evades, preferring to lock himself in his own illusion and play chess in the company of a strange character, with whom he spends most of his time. Mais Louison is not the type to let it go: facing Yann’s silences, she will try everything to unmask him, beyond the cracks that he tries to hide from her...
Après Grou and Foxes, the Renards Company / Effet Mer continues to amaze us, with a new intimate and tender fiction. In this restorative and luminous show, she reminds us that deep in our hearts slumbers the greatest of magical powers: the richness of our imagination.
