Saint Nicholas also sticks his finger in the air! - Jan De Smet & Saint Nicholas (All ages)

Jan De Smet (De Nieuwe Snaar) has been forging a path for the new, fresh children's song for a number of years. The success of the book/CD publication Steek Je Vinger In De Lucht (Lannoo) cannot be denied. On this CD, traditional Sinterklaas songs were given a refreshing makeover. Jan De Smet is now also bringing (among other things) these songs live to a live audience. He accompanies himself on about eight (and sometimes unexpected) instruments. At the beginning of the performance, those same instruments are all excitingly wrapped in shiny wrapping paper, as if Zwarte Piet himself has already brought a number of packages! There is singing along, jumping… because we are so happy (because there are no naughty children among us!). And… Saint Nicholas is coming along too!
