Cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, horn player Ben Goldscheider and saxophonist Jess Gillam were the three finalists of BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2016. Connected by friendship, they stand on stage together again ten years later. De Welshe composer Gwilym Simcock composed a jazzy triple concerto tailored to the trio, commissioned by the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, BBC Proms, and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
