WIES Dutch pop trio that mixes indie pop with influences from the Dutch chanson, rock, and electronics. Along the winding roads of indie pop, straight through the alleys of the Dutch chanson, and along the side roads of rock and electronics, WIES walks a completely own path. WIES is a musical chameleon, known from, among others, Soms Is Het Te Laat, Meisje, and Venus. Colorful on the outside with influences from punk and electronic sides, and the grand sound. But also with a deeper layer, a serious and sensitive inside, with lyrics that are about something and have been well thought out. The question 'what is WIES?' is now irrelevant.
