A theater special about reading
Children nowadays still have the concentration span of a goldfish. Just children? You can count adults right along with them. Because they are setting the bad example. They would like their children to read a bit more, but they don't do it themselves, eternally distracted by their phone.
Jonas Boets makes a performance about the turning point at which books find themselves. Should we cherish them or are they hopelessly old-fashioned? Should we hold on to tradition or should we innovate reading?
Expect a show about the writer as a plumber, about splinter-free toilet paper, Roald Dahl as a horror author and why a car does not shit on the road.
