After the death of his mother, Meursault seems emotionally indifferent to the world around him. When he becomes involved in a deadly confrontation on a beach, he is arrested and put on trial. During the trial, not only his act is central, but also his indifferent attitude towards life and society. Based on the existential novel by Albert Camus.
