A couple of musicians (Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson) decide to start a tribute act with songs by Neil Diamond, but their collaboration grows into a complex relationship full of dreams and setbacks. While their act becomes unexpectedly popular, they have to choose between success and their personal lives.
