The multi-instrumentalist artist returns with new songs and pulls off the feat of crossing time with elegance by navigating the ocean of alternative French chanson, at the crossroads of territories and sounds. A mixture of genres (between pop, rock, electro and chanson) and an originality all her own, a mature and complete creativity, a writing that leaves a mark, a voice that one remembers, a current record that renews and brings together the different styles and themes explored on her first five opus, with a little something extra. Marie Warnant reinvents herself with each of her adventures. For this one, she has fun playing as much guitars as keyboards, the piano, the electro bass, rhythmic programming and she subtly mixes influences and references in her own way. It is serious, deep or light but never lukewarm. Marie Warnant writes the lyrics, the music, the arrangements, the production and for certain tracks surrounds herself with Cédric Van Caillie for bass and guitar, Denis Baeten for drums, Vincent Liben for string arrangements on the track "Gigi", Cape Verdean musicians Lucelino Neves and Nadia Duarte on the song "La mer, ma mère" or her Ghent "nyxtapien" crony Mirko Banovic for the remix of her flagship track "Bruxelles". Au Jardin de ma Sœur, she performs with excellent musicians who accompanied her during the creation of her new pieces... Cédric Van Caillie and Joachim Poitevin.
