Being able to protest. Dressing how you want. Loving who you want. Choosing which God you want to believe in - or not believe in. This is what everyone wishes for, isn't it? Why are words like politics and democracy increasingly spoken with a sour face? What is going on? What is wrong with democracy? The advantages of democracy are great, but not self-evident. Threats are lurking. Quick-fix politicians with quick solutions to complicated problems. But we, the people, must also dare to look in the mirror. We are fickle and shout more and more often: I WANT IT AND I WANT IT NOW! But that's not how it works. That's not how politics was conceived. That's never how it was intended. Our democracy is not perfect - often slow, confusing, and complicated. Sometimes impure. But let's not take the slippery path of anti-politics. Let's stay involved. This performance lasts 55 minutes.
