BART HERMAN SOLO Bart Herman turned 67 and has been on stage for 50 years. He started at a very young age as a country singer in various formations and only started singing and writing in Dutch at the age of thirty. The song “Ik ga dood aan jou” meant his big breakthrough in Flanders in 1993. Partly due to his country background, he developed his own unique style within the Flemish landscape over the years. He is now on his 18th record. Tonight he brings his greatest successes solo-acoustically, interspersed with new songs from his most recent CD, and he also takes a look at his country past. A very varied show for every Bart Herman fan, but certainly not to be missed for every lover of the finer Dutch-language work.
