Capsule [Theatre]

After the hard-hitting Blockbuster presented in 2017 at Vilar, the Collectif Mensuel invites us to participate in the creation of a sound time capsule, on a wax cylinder that can be re-listened to in 100 years or five centuries, even without electricity. Once launched, the device records sixty minutes of sound. No editing, no turning back possible. On stage, actors, Foley artists and musicians will etch the memory of those who fought for a better future. Because no, all of humanity has not led the world to its doom. In a multiform festive show, a piece of radio thriller, a slammed epic, the furious echoes of a speech by Greta Thunberg succeed one another... A sound fireworks display that resonates as an ode to resistance. Since its beginnings, the Collectif Mensuel has been particularly invested in a theater of meaning, translating on stage themes specific to our era. With its new creation full of humor and lightness, it instills in us the energy to reinvent the world! 6 > 14.01.2027 Théâtre Jean Vilar Conseillé from 14 years old Staging: Collectif Mensuel – Artistic direction: Baptiste Isaia and Philippe Lecrenier – Avec Charlotte Bouriez, Blanche Capelle, Xavier Foucher, Quentin Halloy, Matthew Higuet, Baptiste Isaia, Philippe Lecrenier, Julien Legros and Alice Tahon – Musical composition: Quentin Halloy and Philippe Lecrenier – Foley creation: Céline Bernard and Stijn Norga – Scenography: Aurélie Borremans – Costumes: Marie-Hélène Balau – Lighting: Julien Legros – Sound: Matthew Higuet – Coordination and directing assistance: Louise D’Ostuni – Production manager: Renaud Riga – Administration manager: Adrien De Rudder
