Un sensitive debate at the heart of the intimacy of a couple.
At the start, a young modern couple in the queue at Ikea and a question: can we, must we, do we want to give birth to a child in this chaotic world? Then, a series of questionings and debates: parenthood, ecology, our responsibility in this world, the relationship of the couple once they have become parents, the woman's body that changes...
"Poumons" is a comedy-drama whose subject resonates in the intimacy of all lovers: to have or not to have a child? It propels us into the deepest part of the common history of two people, where reason and feelings, eco-anxiety and desire for parenthood dispute. Portrait of an imperfect love in an imperfect world.
The show "Poumons" is the first direction by Anne-Pascale Clairembourg. After its success in January 2025 at the Blocry theater, the British play makes its return to us this season, before a tour in Wallonia!
