In an extraordinarily clear and lighthearted language, Pleysier describes the complex feelings of a son for his deceased mother, who buried him under her talking for a very long time. It results in a warm and loving portrait of the mother. Victor Gielis, a heart player, plays the role of the son. Een Hartenspeler is someone who lives in greater vulnerability and who finds the strength through the arts to cope with their vulnerable situation.
