La Bola Negra

Spain, 1932, 1937, 2017. In three different times, three homosexual men face a society which does not offer them the same freedoms. Their stories reach out to each other, connected by pain, desire and memory. An uncompleted work by Federico Garcia Lorca inspires a film which expands its world into a queer, romantic, poetic tapestry. Eras intertwine and the love stories which history tried to erase continue to echo. An unmissable film from Los Javis, key figures in Spain's contemporary queer cinema.
