Cula Mzansi

Cula Mzansi consists of some of the best vocal composers and arrangers in South Africa. They hop from genre to genre while their voices guide you through history and culture, through landscapes, to the soul of their country. Cula means ‘singing’, Mzansi refers to South Africa. In the decomposition of the name lies the essence. Cula Mzansi stood on stage together with Sioen during the successful tour ‘Sioen Plays Graceland’ (2016-2022). Stella Khumalo also worked in her musical career with Caiphus, Letta, Mirriam, Stef Bos, Simply Red, and Paul Simon. She sings on the original soundtrack of ‘The Lion King’. Khumalo started a collaboration about 15 years ago with Vuyo Tshuma and Vus'umuzi Nhlapo whom she discovered when they were part of the six-piece vocal Africapella that toured Flanders around 2010. After successful tours in Switzerland, Germany, South Africa with harpist Andreas Vollenweider, this a cappella quartet is ready again to conquer your heart. Truly top class!
