Little Lamp

Lampje lives with her father Augustus in the lighthouse. Every evening he sends her upstairs to turn on the light. On a stormy day everything goes wrong: the matches are gone, the fire stays out and a large ship smashes to pieces against the rocks. Lampje is placed out of home and has to go work in the infamous Zwarte Huis. And there, as everyone knows, lives a monster. Super atmospheric film adaptation of the award-winning book by Annet Schaap, which rapidly grew into a worldwide classic. In the magical story about the friendship between a courageous sailor child and a merman boy, everyone is special. The unique costumes, dark visual effects and compelling music are a feast for fans of Tim Burton, Lemony Snicket and... Lampje herself of course!
