Raymond Martineau, the boss who seems to have stepped straight out of a Pagnol play, fails to impose his authority on his daughter. Nor on his wife, for that matter. And then there is also Joseph, his youngest employee, whose father is Breton but whose mother is Jewish. And finally, there is Louis, his oldest employee, whose new friend is a collaborator of the worst kind. But other than that... Life goes on.
