We would like the children to go home with a great story, but not too great... Hello? Can anyone hear me? Can the lights come back on? Imagination. It seems to have always existed. Inexhaustible and endless. The things you can imagine! Pearl-tail rats, Stray-lights, Zingende Hakschoentjes and Were-werewolf-wolves. And places! Het Orakel Obstakel, Het Flipperpad, Het Duister of the Deepery... En de Leegte. De Leegte is there too, of course, more and more often and increasingly vicious. Apparently, the Void pulls like a voracious storm over everything you can think of. All-consuming and just as endless. Endless? On the contrary: ending! In this new production by WOLF WOLF and hetpaleis, seven actors take on the dark, destructive force that swallows our imagination. At the risk of their own lives, they lose themselves in the great Story, let themselves be swallowed by the Theater, and search for a way to get as close to the Void as possible. But before we begin, one more question: does anyone know how to do it, save the imagination? Inspired by the stories of Michael Ende, WOLF WOLF creates a new theater performance, in which they once again guarantee an open and boisterous playing style, driven by an inexhaustible joy of playing. WOLF WOLF is a young acting collective from Ghent, making a name for itself with idiosyncratic adaptations of theater repertoire.
