Standaard Boekhandel Hasselt, Hasselt
Free
Boekvoorstelling Door Junior Leroux about his book 'Intens mens': a book about and for highly sensitive men, what it is like to go through life as a highly sensitive man, with all the advantages and pitfalls that come with it.
Junior Leroux lives and works in Hasselt (Belgium). He is a volunteer at HSP Vlaanderen, where he writes articles for the welfare magazine De Cocon and coordinates the Limburg talk cafés. He is a criminologist by training, was active for years as a restorative mediator in special youth care, and is currently a process coach for people with a disability.
His goal with 'Intens mens' is to break taboos and make high sensitivity in (young) men open for discussion. With his story, he wants to be not only a source of inspiration for all (highly sensitive) boys and men, but also for their parents, partners, friends, employers, colleagues, teachers, coaches, caregivers…
