Autumn Concert - Limburg Orchestra Youth & Music

Het Limburgs Orkest Jeugd & Music under the direction of conductor Wouter Lenaerts and guest conductor Willy Claes cordially invites you to a special musical afternoon in which symphonic masterpieces and operetta sounds come together! On the program is the famous Onvoltooide Symfonie van Franz Schubert, a work that with its lyrical beauty and deep emotional expressiveness belongs to the most beloved compositions from the classical repertoire. In addition, the soloists of the Summer Opera bring a selection of highlights from Der Zigeunerbaron van Johann Strauss. With its catchy melodies, romantic scenes, and Viennese charm, this operetta is a lasting public favorite. As a soloist we welcome playing member Mattias Windmolders, who will perform the brilliant Celloconcerto van Robert Schumann. This masterpiece from the romantic period forms a wonderful interplay between soloist and orchestra and promises an unforgettable moment of musical expression.
